Hello Friends,
Today I was part of our New Hire Training at Stampin' Up! I was asked to show these wonderful gals 'a workshop'. This is really my forte and I really do feel in my comfort zone.
I start a new shift at work in a week and I will be taking on the 7am shift. Really - my name and 7am should not be in the same sentence. I am SO NOT a morning person. I do look forward to being home in the afternoon however. I have made a commitment (to myself) to start holding regular workshops and now with a shift change, it is going to make it so much easier.
I had the gals make the card above as part of the workshop - Make 'n' Take. I let them know that "Lovely as a Tree" is the oldest stamp set in the catalog. What will we do when it retires? (SOB :) I often love the crispness of a monochromatic card. If you are looking for a Christmas Card idea, this would be great. It is pretty simple but elegant. You can add a sentiment of your choice to 'finish' it.
