Layouts using My Digital Studio

Hello Friends,

Do you feel overwhelmed with all the pictures you have taken and just don't seem to get the time to scrapbook them?  I certainly do!  The thing with me is I feel it has to be the most perfect layout to add pictures to.  I feel like I need to spend a full weekend at a scrapbook retreat to make up the pages.  However, with Stampin' Up!'s 'My Digital Studio' software program, you can be done in just a few minutes.  The layout shown above is simply a page that already has the photo boxes - all you need to do is drag pictures into it.  I am way behind on my scrapbooking, and I know using MDS will help me get all my pictures in books or on layouts.

Here is another layout!  A very good friend of mine (who happens to be my sister's mother in law) took Kayleigh and I to 'Chatsworth House' when we were visiting in England.  It was such a fun day and a great experience.  I even had the chance to play the piano while I was there :)

The chair above was made out of coins!! It was amazing :)

Christmas Card Class

Hello Friends,

I always love planning my cards for card class.  I love getting together with women who instantly become 'friends' when they come to class.  Take Lynda for instance - One of my dear customers Lori, introduced me to Lynda.  I thought the world of her as soon as I met her - it would be hard 'not' to like this woman :) I really look forward to seeing these 'friends' each month.

If you live locally, e-mail me at maxstamps@yahoo.com and request my class schedule.  I have lots of fun things planned for the new year.

If you are unable to make it to class, you may want a kit in the mail or cards in the mail.  E-mail me at maxstamps@yahoo.com for details.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!  I love this time of year.  It actually makes me kind of sad to know Fall is coming to a close and soon it will be Winter - and along with that comes the snow, the ice and the cold.......BUT that means along comes Christmas too :)

This collection of cards uses two great stamp sets.  Gently Falling and Heaven Blessed.  It makes me kinda sad to know that we have just a little while left to order the "Spice Cake" Designer Series Paper.  I love all the colors that are used in this collection of cards - More Mustard, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Very Vanilla.

Gratitude Journal

Hello Friends,

Thanksgiving, next to Christmas is my favorite holiday!  Afterall, I have so much to be grateful for.  I decided it is about time I wrote down the things I am grateful for - it will be a great heirloom right?  :)

I started out with this 5x5 art jounal - click here for more details.  I LOVE ribbon and so it was easy to add lots of strips of ribbon down the spine.  I then cut out a piece of fabric using the square scallop die and the Big Shot.  I cut out a M (great for Max, Mom, Memories :) using the Serif Alphabet Set and punched out a scallop circle using Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and adhered a large button with glue dots. I used a couple of pearls to add a little elegance and it was done.  Literally took me 15 minutes to make a cute journal.

Great idea for a Christmas gift also.

Happy Birthday Dad

Hello Friends,

I sat down with my 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter and between them, this is what they came up with for their Daddy's birthday card.  It was amazing how they simply picked what they wanted from the 'palette' and created this.

That is one amazing thing about MDS!  Even the kids love it and enjoy creating with it.  It avoids mess and waste :)
