Saturday Sketch Challenge

Hello Friends,

Happy Saturday! Time for another Sketch Challenge :)  Here is the sketch we were given to work with.

Yesterday, I had a colonoscopy.  When the nurse came to the waiting room and called my name.  She said to me "Now where do I know you from?" I honestly didn't know. She then said "I know!  I came with Gwen to your card class.  I remembered 'Julie' right away :) Gwen is a co-worker and I invited her to a class and encouraged her to bring a friend.
GREAT NEWS : I am cancer free.  This was such a relief.  I got to thinking how I wish my dear Father could have had the same outcome, but then I was re-assured that I will indeed see him again.  This thought was my inspiration for the card I would like to share with you today.

I tweaked it just a little. I have never ever used Whisper White Card Stock without additional colors.  I like the crispness of this card and felt it didn't need any other color.  The Crushed Curry Ribbon and the daffodils are sufficient.  I used the Old Olive and the Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Markers.  To give it the background I was wanting, I used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

This beautiful set (Abundant Hope) offers inspiration and hope with a spiritual Easter message. Available in both wood-mount and clear-mount.

Have a wonderful weekend!
