Are you still wondering what Christmas Card you would like to make this year? How about this one?

Bring the warmth, cheeriness, peace, and all other special feelings of Christmas to the hands and hearts of your family and close friends with our fun and festive images and greetings of the season. Added to the vintage look of this card by adding color to portions of the image using our Aqua Painter and Classic ink. With stamps, there are so many options!

Celebrate the kind of Christmas you would read about in a Dickens novel. The Good Cheer set will help you create projects that invoke the traditional imagery from days gone by, all with a dose of elegant cheer.

Home Decor - Believe

Hello Friends,

Last night I was invited to go to one of my friends and SAMee's downline meeting.  Vicky wanted me to share with her team what I do at my workshops.  I can demonstrate a workshop in 30 minutes and that is exactly what I did.  We had time for questions afterward.

Before the meeting, Vicky took me to 'A Little Taste of Britain' for REAL fish and chips.  I even had mushy peas and a can of vimto.  Ahhhhh!  It was so awesome.  It really 'took me back to England'.  The owners are wonderful people and they even had a TV showing English shows.  It was decorated with pictures of the Queen and Big Ben and the London Bridge among many others.  I stocked up on chocolate and goodies.  I simply cannot wait to go back.

Today's project was made by Vicky.  This was a 'Thank You' for going to the meeting.  What a NICE Thank You.  I made a compliment about how wonderful it was and Vicky said she was glad as she had made it for me.  So cute!

Here are some cards made by her downline.  They were very gracious giving them to me.

Utah Divas International Color Challenge #9

Hello Friends,

Time for another Utah Divas International Color Challenge. This weeks challenge was much better for me.  I seem to work so much better with Greens than I do blues and I really LOVE this weeks Color Combination.

Here is what we were given to work with!  (Remember that we use the picture for the colors and not for the inspiration.  Check out the Utah Divas International blog on Thursdays for Inspiration Challenges.)

I received the "French Foliage" for FREE.  I took part in a Book-A-Thon event at work and was able to choose a stamp set of my choice.  French Foliage happened to be one of the few stamp sets that I didn't own, so I chose that one.  WOWZERS, I love it.  Very easy to work with and with the vibrant colors of fall, it is perfect.
This may also shock most of my readers, especially if you are a Demonstrator.  It is the FIRST time, I repeat the FIRST time I have used "Poppy Parade" which is one of our 'In-Colors' this year.

The base of the card is Poppy Parade.  For the background, I used So Saffron using the Lattice Die.  I then used the Top Note Die with Whisper White and stamped images from the "French Foliage" stamp set using Always Artichoke, So Saffron, Riding Hood Red and Old Olive Classic Ink Pads.  I wrapped a piece of Poppy Parade Ribbon around it and tied a knot.  I stamped the "Thank You" sentiment from the "Curly Cute" stamp set on Whisper White paper using Poppy Parade Classic Ink.  I punched it out with the Modern Label punch.  I adhered it using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Christmas Cards - Class / Kits in the Mail / Cards in the Mail

Hello Friends,

Hope you had a fabulous weekend!  It was beautiful here in Utah but today lots of rain, and even snow!  Brrrrrrr! I love the Thanksgiving/Christmas season but NOT the cold.  I should live in Hawaii or San Diego.  I always threaten to move to Saint George (Southern Utah) at this time of year.  Another thing to look forward to, Kayleigh (our college student) will be home for the Holidays.

Now is the time to plan for your Christmas Cards.  I provide the way for you to make your own hand stamped cards.  Much more appreciated than a store bought one!
Maybe you plan on sending a photo card this year.  The sample above is one I can get ready for you.  OR you can choose either of these :)

Choose which one you would like to make.  You may even want a mixture.  Here are your options :

1) Come over to my house to make them
2) Kit in the Mail - I will mail you the stamp set (that must be pre-ordered) along with the kit and directions for you to make your cards in the comfort of your own home
3) Cards in the Mail - You let me know how many cards you want. I will mail the finished cards, along with envelopes to your home.  All you have to do then is write in them and mail them to your loved ones.

Jolly Old Saint Nick
Choice of Clear or Wood Mount
Lovely as a Tree

Let me know which option and which card you would like and I will get back to you with details and costs.  E-mail me at maxstamps@yahoo.com or call 801 897-0429.

Home Decor Frame

Hello Friends,

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend.  Here in Utah, it has been a gorgeous day.  My friend Deb came over and we had a fun time chatting and stampin'.  Deb wasn't able to make the Scrapbook Class or Card Class this month so we had some one on one time.  It was great.

Before Deb came over, I made this 'Home Decor'.  I bought the frame from the craft store.  I used the mat that was already in the frame and stamped the 'holly' from the 'Cold Play' stamp set using Always Artichoke Classic Ink and using the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker for the berry. Click here to see details of my Marker Club.

I then made the trim using the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and the Crochet Trim Chantilly.
I punched out the ornament from the 'Contempo Chiristmas' Stamp Set using the Ornament Punch. Next, I added some bling - fabulous Rhinestones and adhered it using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I L-O-V-E the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper.  I used part of one of the sheets for the mail focal of the frame.

Very quick, very easy and fabulous cost :)

First Christmas Card 2010

Hello Friends,

I received my first Christmas Card for 2010 and a beautiful one at that.  How very sweet of my friend Karen to send this to me.  Wait until you see what she sent me with the card.  (Coming up tomorrow :)
Reverence the awe and wonderment of the Christmas season on a card or scrapbook page with the divine image and greetings of faith included in this set. Our angel is poised for watching over and declaring great tidings to all your cherished friends and closest family. Available both in wood-mount and clear-mount. Also available in French and in Spanish.

Now is the time to plan your Christmas Cards.  Receiving a hand made card is so much better than a store bought one.  Take a look in your catalog or in your Holiday Mini Catalog.  Let me know which one you would like the best.  I will send you a couple of samples to ask which one you would like for your Christmas Card this year.  I will then order the stamp set for you and put together a kit for you so you can make your cards either here at my Christmas Card Camp or in the comfort of your own home.

E-mail me at maxstamps@yahoo.com and put Christmas Cards 2010 in the subject line.  First step - let me know which Christmas Set you like the best.  Looking forward to hearing from you.

Utah Divas International Color Challenge #8

Hello Friends,

This has been the hardest color challenge for me so far. I am not kidding when I tell you I struggled with it and I know you will believe me now you have seen my creation.  I am NOT a lover of 'Perfect Plum'.  It is one of my least, favorite Stampin' Up! colors.  Here are the colors we were given to work with.
