Have a Seat

Hello Friends,

I just love Basic Black and Very Vanilla together.  What a fabulous color combo.  It is amazing how I have a plethora of colors to choose from and can always make something with just two basic colors.
I used Basic Black for the card base, with a layer of Very Vanilla inside and on top of the card.  The one on the front I ran through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  I then used another awesome Die - Top Note.
I stamped the image from the Have a Seat Stamp Set and used the "i miss you" sentiment from the Three Little Words Stamp Set using Jet Black Stazon Ink.  I added 2 Black (Neutrals) Brads using the Paper Piercing Tool. To finish it off, I added a piece of Black Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.

Perfect little card created in less than 15 minutes.

Hi Max! I just love your card! So simple, yet so elegant. And I like how you offset the topnote die. Awesome look! I might need to case that from you. LOL.

I can't say what my favorite color combo really is. It depends on the season. You know, Soft Subtles in the Spring, Earth Elements in the fall, etc. I do like crumb cake and baja breeze together (with vanilla) so that probably doesn't count. I think you make the prettiest black and vanilla cards that I've ever seen though! Keep up the beautiful creations and wonderful inspiration.
