Stampin' Up! Retreat - Day 2

Hello Friends,

You are probably wondering why I have a picture of a bowl full of salad!  This was lunch today along with a fabulous Chicken Noodle Soup.  Each of us girls had to take a 'food' assignment.  Lisa didn't have to do any of the cooking/prep work as she is our host - and a fabulous one at that.  I was given the lunch assignment and YES I LOVE onions :)

We have had a fun day watching demonstrations and making fun projects.  Here are a few of the things we made -

First we made a cute banner using the pre-order "Floral District" Designer Series Paper.  If you look closely, you will see we used the "Delicate Doily" sizzlet die.  It is so beautiful.

Next, Martha showed us how to make coasters, again using the Floral District DSP.

We then made a cute 'brag' book using the "Comfort Cafe" Designer Series Paper - LOVE it !!

We didn't decorate the book as we wanted to decorate it how we wanted - so will do that when I get home :)

And lastly a couple more projects that are FUN :)

We just ate dinner, relaxed playing games and we are now going to watch a movie.  We have placed bets on who will fall asleep first. Everyone has voted for either Martha or myself.
