Pals Hop - Oh Baby!

Hello Friends,

Oh, Baby! It's time for the Pals Blog Hop! Today the Stampin' Pretty Pals are sharing some fabulous cards and projects for babies and children that we think you'll enjoy!
You've probably hopped over from Marian Kay's blog at http://allaboardthecraftingtrain.blogspot.com/, I'm stop number 6 on the Pals Hop and I'm glad you hopped in!

Living in Utah, I always need to have some baby/Mom gifts on hand.  This book has blank pages for the Mom to decide what she would like in it. Maybe pictures, comments about her newborn, messages from friends and family.

The decoration is simple yet elegant.  A piece of Daffodil Delight Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. (Blue or Pink Ribbon can be used if you wish.)  I attached a 'key' with some linen thread.  I punched out a "Daffodil Delight" circle and a Very Vanilla "B" using the Big Shot and ran them through the Big Shot using our Embossing Folders.  I added some Pearls and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now hop along for more inspiring ideas from Susan at http://stampandscrapwithsusan.com/ stop number 7 on the Babies and Children Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for "hopping" by!

What a beautiful idea for a new Mum! I really like how you have kept the journal nice and simple and preserved the 'kraft' look. The yellow design features are really lovely! :)
