Happy Saturday Friends,
One of the projects we made at Hostess Club this month was this card using the Autumn Splendor Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini. The sentiment "Thinking of You" is from the Trendy Trees Stamp Set.
The Designer Series paper is taken from the Autumn Meadows collection. I stamped the leaf images with Basic Brown Classic Ink on Very Vanilla Card Stock and watercolored using Blender Pens and More Mustard, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip Classic Ink refills. The sentiment was stamped using Taken with Teal Classic Ink. I cut out another Chocolate Chip leaf and used a stampin' dimensional to pop the image.

This has been voted the favorite card for my upcoming card class. It is very easy to make and I wanted to share the directions with you.
Real Red Card Stock - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 (folded)
Whisper White Card Stock - 5 1/4 x 4" + small piece of scrap
Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon
Medallion Stamp Set
Thank You Stamp Set
Real Red Classic Ink Pad
Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink Pad
Scallop Circle Punch
* Ink up the Medallion Stamp with the pumpkin pie ink. Make sure it is inked up really well. You can use a brayer to help this procedure. Sponge the stamp with Real Red ink wherever you would like. Place the Whisper White card stock face down on the stamp. Place a paper towel over it and then run the clean brayer over it. This produces a precise stamped image.
* Adhere this to the folded Real Red card stock. Fasten the ribbon around the card and tie a knot. Snip edges.
* Ink up the Thank You stamp with Real Red ink and stamp on scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch out with the scallop punch. Place it in center of card with a Stampin' Dimensional.
Currently, the Medallion Stamp Set is Stampin' Up!'s #1 selling stamp set.

Punch tip: To keep all your punches in great condition, you can alternate punching through waxed paper (to keep them sliding through material well) and punching through soda pop aluminum cans (to keep them sharp). Cut the ends off the cans (carefully so as not to cut yourself) and cut down one side to open up the material. Then punch or run the sheet of aluminum though your big shot dies and you’ll have a fun colorful shape to add to your projects as well as keep your cutting tools nice and sharp. The nice thing about the aluminum cut pieces is that once punched they are no longer too sharp to use safely.. Our craft scissors do a terrific job on the cutting down the side.
Punch tip #2: When your new punches arrive take some old copy or junk mail paper and punch several times to make sure you have any machine oil from the manufacturing and storage process out of the punch so you don’t stain your nice Stampin’ Up papers. If for some reason your punch is a bit sticky you can stick it in the freezer for a short time remove and let thaw and this should take care of the problem.
