Q: What are the minimum sales requirements?
A: You only have to submit $300 in sales per quarter. That is less than an average Stampin’ Up! workshop! Also, you can submit your sales in any increment you wish and still get your discount and commission.

Q: What if I only want to do this as a hobby. Do I still have to do parties?
A: Absolutely not! Stampin’ Up! supports the hobby demonstrator just as well as the career demonstrator. You can put in your own order or collect orders from family and friends to equal the $300 minimum for the quarter.

Q: Can I be my own hostess?
A: Yes, you can be your own hostess anytime you want!!! You can invite your family and friends into your own home and have a workshop. You would be the hostess, receiving the hostess benefits, and you would also be the demonstrator receiving your instant income and commission!

Q: How much does it cost to get started as a demonstrator?
A: The standard starter kit is only $169 plus tax (shipping is free) through March 31st, 2009. It includes everything you need to get your business up and running, including stamp sets that you get to choose, ink, paper, catalogs, order forms, training information and more!

Q: What if I decide that I don’t like it once I’ve started? Will I be penalized if I quit or is there a certain time frame I have to be a demonstrator?

It is OK to copy your projects from these sources and use them at your workshops… in fact, it’s encouraged! You don't have to think of everything by yourself. Q: Are there any Stampin’ Up! events that I can attend as a new demonstrator?
A: Yes, almost all of them!!! Every year Stampin’ Up! has it’s annual convention. It is in Salt Lake City, Utah the last part of July/first part of August and is 4 days long. This is the best event ever!!! Can you imagine 10,000 crazy stampers getting together to share ideas and stamp? It’s wild and so worth it! There are also regional seminars throughout the country and also local events too!

Fifth Avenue Floral Class

I am so thrilled to let you know that I have hired a 'Creative Assistant'. I have known 'GRETCHEN BARRON' for a few months now and have been very impressed with her work. Gretchen created the 3 cards shown here which we will make at our class. Kits by mail available too.

Here are the details for my upcoming class.

When: Saturday April 12th @10:00am OR Tuesday April 14th @7pm

Option 1 - $35
You will make 6 cards and matching envelopes (2 of each card posted here). You will
take the stamp set and the Designer Series Paper (see bottom of post) home with you.
Option 2 - $20
You will make 6 cards with matching envelopes
Option 3 - FREE
You will make 6 cards with matching envelopes and place a minimum order of $25
Option 4 - $40
You will be sent a kit in the mail. You will receive the stamp set, the Designer Series
and the directions to make the cards at home. (If choosing this option, you will receive
an e-mail with a list of additional supplies needed to create the cards exactly. All card
stock and papers will be cut for you. ($5 Shipping - US Residents only please.)

What will I do as a demonstrator?
You will share your love of creating cards, gifts and/or scrapbook pages with family and friends. You can do this through sharing one-on-one, doing in-home workshops, classes and/or other events. If you choose to, you will also help others enjoy the fun and flexibility of running their own Stampin’ Up! business. Will I receive support and training as a demonstrator? By joining you will become part of my team, and I’ll provide you with all the help and support you need — but I will never push or pressure you to do more than you desire. Whether your goals are to just support your stamping habit or you want to build a successful business, I am here to help. I will be here for you at all times – all you have to do is call or email me!

How will I make money as a demonstrator? Since customers pay you directly, you will keep 20% of each order placed at the time of their payment. What if I decide it’s not for me once I’ve started? Will I be penalized if I quit? You simply stop placing orders. If you don’t meet the minimum requirement, Stampin’ Up! will just “drop” you—no penalties, no questions asked! But I guarantee that once you start you won’t want to stop!!

Do I have to attend meetings? There is always something going on which include a combination of business and stamping events which are completely optional, but a lot of fun if you choose to come!
Are there any Stampin’ Up! events that I can attend as a new demonstrator? Yes, and they are a blast! Every year in July there is the annual convention. Imagine several thousand crazy stampers in one place for 4 days! There are also regional training events throughout the country each year, and local events organized BY Stampin’ Up! demonstrators FOR Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.
